When Novo Nordisk asked Caring Capital to help them engage employees nationwide in a single, unifying charitable event – whether they worked in offices or on their own off-site – we customized our Communal Heart Collage project. For those in the field, we packed and shipped Personal Project Kits, each with the supplies and instructions to create and return two ‘Heart Tiles.’ For those at corporate headquarters, our Master Teaching Artists spent a day guiding groups as they, too, designed tiles. With nearly 1,000 elegant tiles in hand, we produced 15 Communal Heart Collages on stretched canvases. Those Collages now brighten hospital walls from coast to coast, lifting the spirits of children battling diabetes and hemophilia. Bravo, Novo Nordisk!
Guided by Caring Capital, 75 participants, employees and families of Macrosoft, built and decorated 20 bookcases and donated cartons of new books, for Reach Out and Read, to help advance early childhood literacy.
During its Fall 2013 Season of Solidarity (SSOS), Sanofi U.S. asked Caring Capital to guide employees in making a variety of wonderful gifts – animal clocks, picnic sets, fleece blankets – all to lift young hospital patients’ spirits.
Caring Capital was hired to design and lead the first ever Langdon Ford Financial Services Day, where the entire firm worked in teams to build garden benches for developmentally disabled adults and children’s furnishings for impoverished families.
A.J. O’Connor’s executive coaches experienced the ease of working with Caring Capital to accomplish team-building projects with their own corporate clients. Two teams each created Magic Carpet play rugs for Morris County’s “Neighborhood House”.
